2. Screen Porch Renovation

LG removed all the existing screening and wood trim. After a thorough cleaning of the wood framing, the house wall, and the ceiling, two coats of premium Sherwin-Williams paint were applied. From there, LG installed Phifer Tuff Screen. The screen was attached with staples and then new custom cut one-inch-thick trim boards were nailed to the framing.

Yes, LG uses the old-school screen installation method. There are numerous screen fastening systems available today; but, LG believes the traditional method is still the best in terms of durability and appearance.

Next up is to replace the original screen door with a custom designed door built in LG’s Spartanburg workshop. The new screen door will include a pet door for the family dog.

LG also designed and built three wood gates to replace the original fence gates.
